Russian President Vladimir Putin is indicating willingness to negotiate with Donald Trump for a ceasefire. Recently, he has expressed that Russia is open to talks.

Ukraine remains deeply worried of a quick and unfair ceasefire deal. Officials in Kyiv fear that such an agreement could compromise their territorial integrity, leaving critical regions under Russian control. Moreover, Ukraine’s leadership has expressed concerns about the lack of robust security guarantees in any proposed settlement, which could leave the nation unsafe to future aggression.
